SHIPPING, RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY
1. Application of Policy
This policy governs the shipping, delivery, returns and refunds applicable to all purchases made through Moyabella. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set out herein.
2. Shipping Policy
2.1 Delivery Areas
Moyabella delivers within Gauteng and other regions across the Republic of South Africa. Delivery availability may vary depending on location.
2.2 Delivery Fees
• Orders of R850.00 or more – Free delivery
• Orders between R500.00 and R849.00 – Delivery fee of R100.00
• Orders below R500.00 – Delivery fee of R150.00
Applicable delivery charges will be displayed at checkout prior to order confirmation.
2.3 Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 (one to three) business days following confirmation of payment.
Due to the handmade nature of certain products, additional preparation time may occasionally be required. Customers will be notified of any significant delays.
2.4 Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery time is 3 to 5 (three to five) business days from date of dispatch for major metropolitan areas.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are subject to variation based on courier operations and delivery location.
2.5 Risk and Delivery
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the nominated address.
Moyabella shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, acts of God, weather conditions, civil unrest, or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
3. Returns and Refund Policy
3.1 Cooling-Off Right (Online Purchases)
In accordance with section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, customers are entitled to cancel an online order within 7 (seven) days after receipt of the goods.
Where applicable:
• The customer must return the goods within a reasonable time
• The goods must be unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition
Moyabella reserves the right to charge a reasonable handling fee where permitted by law.
3.2 Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to a defective, damaged or incorrect item, the customer shall be responsible for all return shipping costs.
3.3 Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
In terms of the Consumer Protection Act, customers are entitled to receive goods that are of good quality, in working order, and free from defects.
If you receive goods that are damaged, defective or incorrect:
• You must notify us within 48 (forty-eight) hours of delivery
• Photographic evidence of the product and packaging must be provided
Upon verification, Moyabella will, at its discretion:
• Replace the product; or
• Refund the purchase price
Return collection may be arranged where applicable.
3.4 Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are not eligible for return:
• Opened or used cosmetic products
• Personal care items that have been unsealed
This exclusion does not apply where the product is defective as contemplated under applicable law.
3.5 Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 (five to ten) business days after the returned goods have been received and inspected.
Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Product Disclaimer
Moyabella products are handmade and may exhibit slight variations in appearance, including but not limited to size, colour, texture, or fragrance. Such variations do not constitute defects.
Product packaging may vary from images displayed due to supplier availability; however, product quantity and specifications will remain consistent.
Information provided regarding product benefits is based on general use and customer feedback and does not constitute medical advice. Individual results may vary.
Customers are advised to conduct a patch test prior to use. Moyabella shall not be liable for adverse reactions resulting from the use of its products where such use is inconsistent with provided guidance.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Moyabella shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or services.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights afforded to consumers under applicable South African law.
